Large white arrows direct visitors from the ticket office to the entrance to the caves, which are only 200 m away. The guide will pick up the visitors at the so-called turnstile, which is near the entrance. Behind the turnstile, the path leading to the entrance to the caves is via a staircase in the rock face of the former Houbov quarry, from which this part of the caves was discovered in 1951, and through which the Zlatý kőň educational trail passes today. From the staircase there is a view of Velkolom Čertovy schody.
The actual tour begins with the entrance to the middle floor of the cave system, which is situated mainly on the border of Königsberg and Suchomast limestones. Right behind the entrance, one of the geological rarities of the Golden Horse - the Neptunian vein - is clearly visible in the ceiling of the entrance area.
The first stop is the cave of Lazzero Spallanzani (1). In it, visitors will learn basic information about the caves and their genesis. Above the stalactite formation called Eternal Desire, the route turns to the right and continues to the staircase, which visitors descend. The corridor continues down to the so-called Christmas Grotto, but visitors turn left, go through the U Labutě hall and reach the U organ hall (2). From the Organ, one goes up the stairs. On the right side, you can see small ponds in the clay, in which water is often retained. After passing through the second tunnel on the left behind the glass door, we will see a discovery corridor. Visitors climb a few steps to the right to the Mareš hall (3). On the wall opposite the staircase is a jagged curtain, the most beautiful decoration of this room. The ribbed stalactites on the overhanging wall above the staircase are also interesting. Unfortunately, part of the decoration was damaged in the 1950s, at a time after the discovery, when the caves were not yet properly secured.
From Marešová hall, you go back and continue along the long descending staircase through Kukla's dome to before Letošník's chasm (4), where the route branches. Across the chasm is a staircase down with a railing in the middle. On its right side, it converges to the Old Corridor (4) and after passing the closed circuit, visitors return on the other side of the railing. Above the staircase is a chimney leading to the upper floor of the cave. From Letošník's Abyss, they continue to the right into an artificially excavated tunnel towards the largest area of the Koněprus Caves - Prošk's Dome (5). On the ceiling gate through which you enter Prošk's Cathedral, there is another local rarity - one of the oldest and also the most interesting decorations of the Koněpruské caves - the so-called "Koněpruské rosette". Prošk's Dome is the furthest part of the tour, from here visitors return to Kuk's Dome by a different route. They will pass under a boulder to the Deserted Dome (6), where several copies of skeletal finds from the caves are on display. From the bones, continue up the stairs, walk through Peter's Dome and descend again into the Jaroslav Petrbok cave (7). This space has an unexpectedly high and broken ceiling. A massive sintropad "flows" from one of the chimneys. After about 50 meters you will come to an iron spiral staircase. A spiral staircase leads visitors to the upper floor, also called the Mint (8), where a secret minting workshop was operated in the Middle Ages.
The tour of the caves ends on the top floor. At the exit from the cave, it is possible to continue on the surface along an educational trail equipped with nice instructional boards.
